Dear Lovers,
A little about me, before I learn all about you - I’m a lover of rituals, human
connection, capturing candid affection (like paparazzi but less obnoxious),
and of all things, love.
I’m guilty of being the first person to cry happy tears at a wedding but am now pro at keeping it together. I am extremely good at multi-tasking, will always be happy to help doing up difficult shoe straps or dress buttons, and have gone as far as being a stand-in chauffeur for the bride and groom - all whilst filming.
Love manifests itself in different ways - starry eyes, small touches, subtle or outward teasing, secret kisses, or
extravagant affection - to name a few. When people ask me what my favourite moment of a wedding is, I used to respond with a standard of “glimpsing the groom cry whilst the bride walks down the aisle”.
Yes, this is still up there - but over the years it’s become much more clear to me that it’s learning and understanding the love language between you and your partner which make weddings my special place to be. That intangible thing that gets you both smiling ear to ear or laughing uncontrollably. That love note without words.
I take your language and emulate that quality in your film so that you can remember the day exactly as it felt in those special moments - crafting a personalised story of your union.
Let’s Rendezvous.
